Subscription Packages

Our concert season begins in September and continues through June. Season ticket packages are available for Classical concerts, Weekender Pops and Inside the Classics. Create Your Own and EZ Ticket packages are also available, allowing you to select concerts based on your interests and schedule.

The Minnesota Orchestra performs more than 200 concerts every season, most of which are right here at Orchestra Hall. A subscription series is a set of three or more concerts packaged for your convenience at a special discounted price giving you a sampling of our many concerts. By purchasing a subscription package, not only do you save money on tickets, but you also become a subscriber and enjoy the many benefits not available to single ticket buyers. These include ticket exchanges (up to one hour prior to concert), discounts on additional tickets, priority seating, advance notice and ticket buying for new concerts, $10 Young Listener tickets and more. For more information about season packages, or to order your series online, click here.

Group & Corporate Sales

Groups of 10 or more save up to 20% on Minnesota Orchestra tickets. Planning a tour, company outing, school trip or just a night out with friends? Click here for more information.

Exchanges & Turnbacks

Exchanges are available for subscribers only and can take place up to one hour prior to the performance. Rental concerts and events not presented by the Minnesota Orchestra as well as select holiday and presentations may be restricted from subscriber exchanges. There are no exchange fees for subscribers with the exception of a $4.75 per order fee applied to exchanges occurring the day of concert.

If you are unable to use your concert tickets, turnbacks for a tax-deductible contribution are available for all patrons. This applies only to tickets for Minnesota Orchestra subscription or holiday/presentation concerts. Call the Ticket Turnback line at 612.339.4037 for more information.

Rental events are a final sale for every patron.

Lost Tickets

A lost ticket can be replaced by Ticket Services and mailed to you unless the concert is within 10 business days. If this occurs, your new tickets will be available in the Box Office. Please Note: a reprinted ticket will render the lost ticket invalid.

Cancellations/Inclement Weather

Program changes may occur due to an artist replacement or cancellation or music selection change. It is very rare for a concert to be cancelled entirely. If a concert cancellation occurs due to weather or other conditions, announcements will be made on WCCO Radio 830AM, Minnesota Public Radio 99.5 FM and other local radio and television stations.

Should a concert cancellation occur, please hold on to your tickets, and we will contact you with options. We also encourage you to sign up for E-Alerts at tickets@mnorch.org, or call 612.371.5656. The Minnesota Orchestra values your support and privacy. We will never sell or trade your email address.

Rush Tickets

Discounted tickets (called “Rush” tickets) are available for select concerts beginning one hour prior to the performance. Public Rush tickets are priced at $25. High School and College Student Rush tickets are $15, with a current valid student ID. Call Ticket Services the day of the performance to inquire about availability at 612.371.5656 or 1.800.292.4141. Rush tickets are subject to availability and may not be sold in all seating sections.

Student Discount Opportunities

All Student Offers

Rush tickets for high school and college students are $15 for each student with a valid student ID. They are available for select concerts beginning one hour prior to most performances. Tickets are not limited to Minnesota residents. Call Ticket Services the day of the performance to inquire about availability at 612.371.5656 or 1.800.292.4141. Call Group Sales at 612.371.5662 or email groupsales@mnorch.org for information and reservations. Click here for more information and a complete list of concerts eligible for the student group rate.

Children

We ask that only children six years or older attend our full length concerts. Children of all ages are encouraged to join us for our Target Free Family Concerts, Young People’s Concerts, WAMSO Kinder Konzerts and other youth programs. With the purchase of any regular adult Classical, Pops, or Inside the Classics subscription package, you can add a Young Listener Package for $10 per concert. This is a perfect way to introduce your Young Listener (age 6-17) to thrilling music at Orchestra Hall. We also program family concerts during the winter holidays and at our annual summer festival, Sommerfest, in July/August. Check the concert calendar for details.

All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket adjacent to an adult to enter the hall. Your child is free to sit on your lap as long as his/her head can fit underneath your chin. Taller children seated on a parent’s lap can block the view of other patrons seated in rows behind.

For more information on our education and school programs, click here.

Service Charges

There are no service charges for in-person transactions at the Orchestra Hall Box Office. There is a $4.75 service charge per transaction for all online, phone, fax or mail orders. (This charge is waived for subscribers and group purchasers ordering by phone, fax or mail.) A $2.25 facility fee is included in the price of each individual ticket.
